Prepare to be transported to a winter wonderland as PacRep Theatre's SoDAonStage proudly announces the continuation of its winter musical tradition, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Musical Jr., featuring the incredibly talented students from the Peppy Garner & Darnell Whitt School of Performing Arts (SoDA). This classic holiday extravaganza, adapted from the beloved 1960s animated film, is set to dazzle audiences at the enchanting Outdoor Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the-Sea on weekend matinees from November 28 through December 20, 2026.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr. follows the heartwarming journey of Rudolph, the misfit reindeer with a luminous red nose. This timeless tale unfolds as Rudolph embarks on an epic adventure, befriending iconic characters such as Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, and the unforgettable abominable beast, Bumble. Audiences will also meet Rudolph’s father, Donner, Santa & Mrs. Claus, the lovable Clarice, and the rest of the enchanting North Pole crew. Get ready to sing along with the all-time favorite songs that have become synonymous with the holiday season. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr. features classic Johnny Marks tunes such as "Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree," "Silver and Gold," "A Holly Jolly Christmas," and, of course, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” which are sure to fill hearts with joy.

Venue Information
To make your theater going experience more pleasant, we encourage you to arrive early and to please bear in mind the following:
- Thursday through Saturday performances at the Outdoor Forest Theater begin at 7:30 PM, with seating beginning 60 minutes prior to show time. Lot Parking is limited, but street parking is available.
- Concessions will be on sale.
- Service animals are welcome at the venue.
- Parking is recommended on Mountain View, Santa Rita, and 8th.
- There are no refunds once tickets are purchased. Tickets may be exchanged for alternate performances (subject to availability) by contacting the Box Office, at least 24 hours prior to the original performance date. With the exception of Flexpass holders, ticket exchanges will incur a per ticket fee of $3.00.
Directions
From HWY 1 take the Ocean Avenue exit and continue past the first stop sign for two blocks. Turn left onto Santa Rita Avenue and continue to the bottom of the hill. The entrance gate is to the left at the intersection of Mountain View and Santa Rita. From Downtown Carmel proceed up Ocean Ave. to the intersection of Ocean, Junipero, and Mountain View. Veer right, up Mountain View for 3 blocks. You will see the Forest Theater gate to the left. For patron convenience, a passenger drop off area is in the main parking lot of the Forest Theater. Guests, picnic supplies, blankets and cushions can be dropped off prior to parking your car. Parking is recommended on Mountain View, and Junipero Street .
