Through the years, PacRep has recognized the importance of working toward a greener environment. With that intent instilled, the organization has completed big steps toward eliminating its carbon footprint.

Possessing one of the largest southern facing rooftops in Carmel, the playhouse was ideal for a solar installation that will provide a clean power source while reducing its reliance on harmful fossil fuels.
In 2015 The Golden Bough Playhouse was transformed into an environmentally friendly and self-sustaining home for cultural entertainment and arts education for years to come.

In 2019, PacRep kicked-off its next "green" project with the offering of aluminum water bottles, that can be refilled at water stations that are in plans to be provided when Phase II of the Golden Bough remodel is complete.
