8PM Screening of THE PAJAMA GAME
Sponsored by Carmel Cares and Carmel Gives

Screening of The Pajama Game
PacRep and Forest Theater Guild present The Pajama Game at the Forest Theater April 2 & 3, 2022, at 8pm.

A Musical Comedy Classic!...

April 2 & 3, 2022 - 8:00PM
Outdoor Forest Theater, Carmel

PacRep and the Forest Theater Guild celebrate Carmel icon and darling of screen and television Doris Day by screening one of her best known films at the Outdoor Forest Theater.
Join us for the big screen version of the Broadway hit "The Pajama Game" where workers at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory sing and dance their way through a salary negotiation while Doris and leading man John Raitt negotiate romance!
The boss of an Iowa pajama factory hires superintendent Sid Sorokin (John Raitt) to help oppose the workers' demand for a seven-and-a-half-cent raise. Sid's handsome, affable presence stirs the jealousy of foreman Vernon Hines, who is dating bookkeeper Gladys Hotchkiss (Carol Haney), and attracts worker "Babe" Williams (Doris Day), a strong advocate for the pay increase. Despite liking Babe, Sid resists the workers' sabotage attempt and must decide whether to fire activist Babe.
Proceeds from the screening will benefit PacRep, the Forest Theater Guild and the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

Ongoing Actions
  • PacRep continues to work closely with the relevant authorities, and safety measures will be constantly monitored and adjusted according to the latest requirements.
