Recalling times of optimism and lament regarding certain aspects of her relationships with her husband and son, this play proved to be one of Albee’s best works, awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1994, as well as the Drama Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel, and Outer Critics Circle awards for best play. |
